PERFORMING COMPANY PROGRAM @ DDA (ages 6-18)
WHO - Members of the Performing Company desire to learn, rehearse and perform at high levels with like-minded dancers. Company team members are studio ambassadors, who are positive role models and young leaders within our community.
WHAT - The Company program exposes dancers to the demands and rewards of the pre-professional dance world, providing stage performance opportunities at local community events, festival/competition platforms and two annual studio productions.
WHY - Driftwood values an inclusive experience, celebrating diversity in ages and abilities working together to create and perform exceptional dance work. Performing Company seeks to teach and build strong work ethic, technical and performance proficiency, team building, and the importance of personal responsibility within a group.
Company Program Info for Season 13 (2025/26)
The vision for Season 13’s Company Team includes the existing Core & Branch Company groups, with the hopeful addition of Branch Acro and Senior Ballet!
Branch is a part-time company program for those specifically interested to perform in the styles of Hip Hop, Stage, Modern, Ballet and Acro. Branch dancers have a minimum of 3 classes/week.
Core is a full-time company for dancers willing to commit more time to their dance studies and who typically perform in Jazz, Lyrical and/or Contemporary routines.
Core company dancers are eligible to apply for solos/duos/trios and must attend a minimum of two ballet syllabus classes.

AUDITION SCHEDULE: MONDAY, JUNE 2 TO FRIDAY, JUNE 6, 2025 - LOCATION: DRIFTWOOD DANCE ACADEMY
All prospective company members, New or Returning, must attend an audition to be considered for Season 13's Company Team.
An audition fee of $21/dancer will be due at the time of registration and only has to be paid once, regardless of whether a dancer will be attending multiple auditions.
