DDA Student Scholarship Fund

The Scholarship Fund started two years ago, after recital, when a family within our community saw, and felt, the need for students to be on stage.  They generously and anonymously gifted the first contribution that sparked this trust we so proudly utilize now.  The Scholarship Fund is a support system for students and their families who may not necessarily be able to afford the cost of dance lessons, but need Driftwood in their life.

We are honoured, and humbled by the endowments given to our students, and look forward to giving again next season.

Thanks to the parent-organized Silent Auction, an anonymous benefactor who matched the earnings, and personal donations, we raised over 8,000.00 this at this year’s recitals! If you wish to contribute, please contact the office (604) 770 4650 or info@driftwooddance.com

The goal is to assist in substantial ways; aiding with full-year tuition, or the purchasing of costumes, or gifting solo/duet opportunities.

You can access the application for this support here

A copy of your most recent notice of assessment is also required at time of application
