Charlotte Warner

Born and raised in North Vancouver, Charlotte has been part of the Driftwood community for over a decade.

She began her dance journey at Driftwood at age 10 and trained there until she graduated in 2022, building a strong technical foundation while nurturing a lifelong love of dance. By 15, she had begun assistant teaching, discovering a passion for guiding younger dancers and encouraging their own creativity and self-expression through movement.

Charlotte’s dedication to mentoring extended into Driftwood’s Stagelight Musical Theatre Camp, where she has spent four years guiding and inspiring young performers. Most recently, she co-directed Driftwood’s production of Magic Treehouse Collection: Dinosaurs Before Dark KIDS alongside Miss Laura, an experience that allowed her to blend her performance experience with leadership, creativity, and collaborative storytelling.

During her time at the University of Toronto, Charlotte continued her dance journey with Rise Dance Company, a competitive, student-run team affiliated with the university. She performed with the company and later served as its Director of Marketing, strengthening both her performance and leadership skills. She is now continuing her studies in Political Science at the University of British Columbia with plans to pursue a career in law.

For Charlotte, Driftwood has always felt like a second home, and she is thrilled to return as part of the teaching staff and give back to the community that shaped her. Charlotte believes that dance is truly for everyone, and she hopes to inspire her students to find confidence, connection, and joy through movement just as she did.
