Andrea Villanueva

AISTD | Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical + Preschool Dance

Andrea is a versatile performer and teacher whose journey began with a love of dance. After moving from Kitimat, BC to the Sunshine Coast at age six, she trained at the Coast Academy of Dance through high school, graduating with her ISTD Modern Associate Diploma.

Eager to develop as a triple-threat performer, Andrea completed her first year as a Drama major at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. While in New York, she continued to pursue her love of dance and singing through Broadway performances, formal vocal training, and as an active member of NYU’s Pulse dance club. Following her training at Atlantic Acting School, Andrea is excited to return to Canada and explore artistic opportunities in Vancouver.

Andrea is excited to join the Driftwood faculty and hopes to inspire dancers to find their own voice within the art form, build confidence, and reach their full potential!
